        AN ACT authorizing the town of Pendleton, county of Niagara,  to  reduce
          the  maximum  speed  limit along a certain portion of Mapleton Road in
          such town to 45 miles per hour
          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
     1    Section  1.  Notwithstanding any general, special or local law or code
     2  to the contrary, the town board of the town of Pendleton, Niagara  coun-
     3  ty,  may  by  local  law, ordinance, order, rule or regulation establish
     4  maximum speed limits at not less than forty-five miles  per  hour  along
     5  Mapleton  Road from the intersection with Campbell Boulevard through and
     6  including the intersection with Townline Road.
     7    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
