          printed to be committed  to  the  Committee  on  Local  Government  --
          reported  favorably  from  said committee, ordered to first and second
          report, ordered to a third reading,  amended  and  ordered  reprinted,
          retaining its place in the order of third reading
        AN  ACT  to  amend the local finance law, in relation to authorizing and
          empowering the village of Amityville, county of Suffolk,  to  amortize
          the  cost  of payments to certain employees upon separation of service
          from the village
          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
     1    Section  1.  Paragraph  a of section 11.00 of the local finance law is
     2  amended by adding a new subdivision 108 to read as follows:
     3    108. Payments up to eight hundred seventy thousand dollars made on  or
     4  after  January  1, 2015 by the village of Amityville, county of Suffolk,
     5  to employees upon separation from employment, as may be approved by  the
     6  village  and  including, but not limited to, cash payment for separation
     7  incentives and/or payment of the monetary value of accrued  and  accumu-
     8  lated  but  unused and unpaid sick leave, personal leave, holiday leave,
     9  vacation time, time allowances granted in lieu of overtime  compensation
    10  and  any  other  forms  of payment required to be paid to such employees
    11  upon separation from employment, ten years.
    12    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
