STATE OF NEW YORK ________________________________________________________________________ 8652 IN SENATE July 1, 2020 ___________ Introduced by Sen. GAUGHRAN -- read twice and ordered printed, and when printed to be committed to the Committee on Rules AN ACT in relation to establishing a Caumsett State Park fire readiness study The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem- bly, do enact as follows: 1 Section 1. The office of fire prevention and control, in conjunction 2 with the incorporated village of Lloyd Harbor, the Huntington fire 3 district, and the department of parks, recreation and historic preserva- 4 tion shall conduct a study to evaluate the adequacy and coverage of fire 5 services within the Caumsett State Park, including, but not limited to, 6 concerns regarding accessing the state park during flood events. 7 § 2. The office of fire prevention and control shall submit its find- 8 ings to the governor, temporary president of the senate and speaker of 9 the assembly within one year of the effective date of this act. 10 § 3.
