To enact section 5533.581 of the Revised Code to 1
designate the portion of United States Route 33 2
known as the Nelsonville Bypass in Hocking County 3
and Athens County the "Governor Ted Strickland 4
Highway."5


BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF OHIO:

       Section 1. That section 5533.581 of the Revised Code be 6
enacted to read as follows:7

       Sec. 5533.581.  The road known as the Nelsonville bypass, 8
being part of the road known as United States route number 9
thirty-three, located in Hocking and Athens counties and passing 10
to the north and east of the municipal corporation of Nelsonville, 11
shall be known as the "Governor Ted Strickland Highway."12

       The director of transportation may erect suitable markers 13
along the highway indicating its name.14
