A RESOLUTION

Honoring Olivia Thoroughman as Miss Ohio Outstanding Teen 2013.

       WHEREAS,  The members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to pay tribute to Olivia Thoroughman on being crowned Miss Ohio Outstanding Teen 2013; and

       WHEREAS,  A senior at Minford High School, Olivia Thoroughman represents other young women throughout the state who have established high personal goals and have striven to attain their potential. Her selection as Miss Ohio Outstanding Teen 2013 is a fitting tribute to her for the enthusiasm and initiative that she has continually displayed, and she is certainly deserving of high praise; and 

       WHEREAS,  Known and admired throughout her community as a lovely and charming individual, Olivia Thoroughman derives extra energy from her many accomplishments. Never content to take a passive role in life, she has brought insight and exceptional ability to all of her pursuits, and we are certain that as she assumes her duties as Miss Ohio Outstanding Teen, she will accept each challenge as an opportunity for growth and achievement and will ably serve as a representative and ambassador for the state; and

       WHEREAS,  The amicable style that Olivia Thoroughman proudly displays has served as a positive asset that will continue to motivate her throughout her future endeavors. We are pleased to note that her numerous qualities make her truly deserving of special recognition; therefore be it

       RESOLVED,  That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, congratulate Olivia Thoroughman as Miss Ohio Outstanding Teen 2013 and, in so doing, salute her as one of Ohio's finest young citizens; and be it further

       RESOLVED,  That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Olivia Thoroughman.
