A RESOLUTION
Honoring Amanda Young as the 2014 Ms. Wheelchair Ohio USA.

       WHEREAS,  The members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate Amanda Young on being crowned Ms. Wheelchair Ohio USA for 2014; and

       WHEREAS,  An intelligent, poised, and motivated young woman, Amanda Young has developed her knowledge and skills and has striven to meet challenges with enthusiasm and confidence. A student at The Ohio State University, she has displayed an exceptional willingness to work hard to attain superior results, and consequently, she was selected as the 2014 Ms. Wheelchair Ohio USA, qualifying her for the 2015 Ms. Wheelchair USA Pageant; and 

       WHEREAS,  Amanda Young has derived extra energy from her many activities and accomplishments, and her integrity and steadfast determination are truly admirable. Indeed, her amiable style will carry her far beyond this event and will be of great value to her in the years to come; and

       WHEREAS,  The achievements of Amanda Young are a justifiable source of pride not only for her family and friends but also for the entire community. She has shown a sincere desire to fully develop her talents so that she might fulfill her goals in the future, and this, coupled with her maturity and initiative, shows her potential to become one of tomorrow's leaders; therefore be it

       RESOLVED,  That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Amanda Young on her recent honor and extend best wishes for ongoing success; and be it further

       RESOLVED,  That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Amanda Young.
