A BILL

To authorize the Governor to create JobsOhio, a

nonprofit economic development corporation.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF OHIO:

Section 1. It is the General Assembly's intent that sections	3
of the Revised Code be amended, enacted, or repealed to authorize	4
the Governor to form a nonprofit corporation that would perform	5
such state economic development functions as directed by law and	6
pursuant to a contract with the Department of Development.	7
