A RESOLUTION
Honoring the Miami Trace High School FFA on its success at the 2013 FFA State Parliamentary and the 2013 FFA State Agricultural Communications contests.

       WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to commend the Miami Trace High School FFA on its advanced parliamentary procedure and novice parliamentary procedure teams winning the 2013 State contests and its agricultural communications team placing third at the 2013 State Contest; and

       WHEREAS, From the Miami Trace High School FFA, students Kameron Rinehart, Caroline Hughes, Zach Ault, Cody Clyburn, Caleb Penwell, Cassidy Elam, Evan Schaefer, and Natalie Miller, under the astute guidance of their instructors, Bruce Bennett and Tracy Dendinger, placed first in the 2013 advanced parliamentary procedure competition, students Marissa Sheets, Gavin Harper, Kole Karnes, Justin Jones, Chloe Price, Todd Peterson, and Mikayla Eggleton, placed first in the 2013 novice parliamentary procedure competition, and students Katie Frost, Riley Evans, and Hannah Peterson, who also secured an individualfirst-place honor, placed third in the 2013 agricultural communications competition. The participants have worked diligently to achieve success, and these accomplishments are a testament to their commitment to this fine organization; and

       WHEREAS, Throughout the school year, the members of the Miami Trace High School FFA have shown a sincere desire to fully develop their knowledge and skills so that they might fulfill their goals, and this, coupled with their maturity and initiative, illustrates their potential to become some of tomorrow's leaders. Indeed, they have set an example of excellence that is worthy of emulation; and

       WHEREAS, Through participation in FFA, the members of the Miami Trace High School FFA will be better prepared to become productive members of our complex andever-changing society. The maturity and experience they have gained through their involvement in this program will not only enrich their educational careers but also enable them to make better-informed decisions as they assume the responsibilities of adult citizenship; therefore be it

       RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, congratulate the Miami Trace High School FFA on its accomplishments and extend best wishes for the future; and be it further

       RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Miami Trace High School FFA.
