| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to commend Tom and Margaret Quinn on being recognized for their service to the National Alliance on Mental Illness, June 12, 2014; and |
| WHEREAS, This prestigious honor is a fitting tribute to Tom and Margaret Quinn for exemplifying excellence in helping to ensure that individuals with serious mental illness are treated with dignity and respect. Among their many endeavors, they have been active with the National Alliance on Mental Illness Six County, serving as its president and vice president since 2001 and facilitators of the twelve-week Family-to-Family Education Program and Monthly Education and Support Group, and they are members of the Mental Health and Recovery Services Board Quality Improvement and Recovery Advisory Council and the Muskingum County Criminal Justice Collaborative and speakers to local clubs and organizations; and |
| WHEREAS, Demonstrating a sincere concern for the future of the area, Tom and Margaret Quinn have given back to the community far more than they have gleaned. They have striven to fulfill their myriad goals in a competent and responsible manner, and they are truly an inspiration to others; and |
| WHEREAS, Tom and Margaret Quinn's tremendous efforts have helped to guarantee a high level of success for all projects with which they have been involved and have gained them the appreciation and gratitude of many. It is through the unsurpassed commitment of conscientious individuals such as they that the State of Ohio continues to grow and prosper and remains a pleasant place in which to live and work; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, pay tribute to Tom and Margaret Quinn on their outstanding service and extend best wishes for the future; and be it further |
| RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Tom and Margaret Quinn. |
