A RESOLUTION
Honoring Connie B. Seaburn on her retirement.

       WHEREAS,  The members of the Senate of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to Connie B. Seaburn on the occasion of her retirement from the Ohio Legislative Service Commission, December 1, 2012; and

       WHEREAS,  Throughout nearly thirty-three years of distinguished service with the State of Ohio, Connie Seaburn has demonstrated an unwavering dedication to performing her duties and fulfilling her responsibilities with the utmost efficiency and competence. During her tenure, she served in such roles as a medical receptionist at the University of Cincinnati, a secretary at The Ohio State University College of Medicine, and an administrative assistant for the Ohio Senate before becoming the fiscal officer for the Ohio Legislative Service Commission; and

       WHEREAS,  Connie Seaburn is a remarkable individual, combining civic concern with selfless initiative to become a dynamic member of the community, and among her endeavors, she is a member of Williamsport United Methodist Church. Always sincere and energetic in her approach to her work, she has given generously of her time and abilities far beyond what was required or expected and has displayed a genuine commitment to improving the quality of life in our society; and

       WHEREAS,  The enthusiasm and expertise Connie Seaburn has shown in her efforts have earned her the respect and appreciation of all those with whom she has worked. As she retires, she has the satisfaction of knowing that she has provided a valuable service to the state and has established a record of personal and professional achievement that will stand as a hallmark for others to emulate; therefore be it

       RESOLVED,  That we, the members of the Senate of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, congratulate Connie B. Seaburn on her retirement and salute her as one of Ohio's finest citizens; and be it further

       RESOLVED,  That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Connie B. Seaburn.
