WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio offer our deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Specialist Adam S. Hamilton in their bereavement; and |
WHEREAS, Adam Hamilton left an indelible impression on the people whose lives he touched, including his father and stepmother, Scott and Connie, his mother, Nancy, and his siblings, Brandon, Nick, Taya, and Shawney, and he will be remembered as a spirited individual who contributed immeasurably to the world around him. A 2007 graduate of Theodore Roosevelt High School and a member of the 4th Squadron, 4th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division of the U.S. Army serving in Afghanistan, he embodied a combination of knowledge and commitment that made him a truly valuable part of our country's armed forces, and we take this opportunity to remember his exceptional record of service, a legacy that will surely live on; and |
WHEREAS, Adam Hamilton's zealous love of life and his selfless devotion to the welfare of others distinguished him as an outstanding human being and a leading citizen. The love, compassion, and understanding he so readily extended to others will long remain in the hearts and minds of all who knew him; and |
WHEREAS, The ultimate sacrifice that Adam Hamilton made to defend the ideals of democracy will stand as a monument to his personal character. It is our sincere hope that his memory will be a source of comfort to those who loved and cherished him; therefore be it |
RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, express a profound sense of loss and sincere regret at the death of Specialist Adam S. Hamilton; and be it further |
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the family of Specialist Adam S. Hamilton. |
