Summary

Creates Mental Health Regulatory Agency. Directs Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists and State Board of Psychologist Examiners to jointly appoint Director of Mental Health Regulatory Agency to serve at direction of boards. Abolishes any existing position of director or other administrator that provides administrative oversight to boards and transfers any duties of existing director or administrator to Director of Mental Health Regulatory Agency. Makes conforming amendments. Becomes operative January 1, 2018. Declares emergency, effective on passage.
