Summary
Provides that parents have right to excuse student from statewide assessment and that school districts must provide notice of that right to parents. Requires alternative method of showing proficiency to be acceptable for diploma purposes if parents excuse student from statewide assessment. Declares emergency, effective July 1, 2015.
