Summary

Establishes Health Care Professional Training Fund. Requires Oregon Health Policy Board to establish criteria for disbursing moneys in fund as grants or loans to communities that submit plans for addressing health care professional workforce needs in communities and for expanding health care workforce in Oregon. Imposes assessment on health insurers, Public Employees' Benefit Board, Oregon Educators Benefit Board and coordinated care organizations to provide funding for program.
