Summary
Allows more state moneys to be spent for school districts that were impacted by wildfires. (Flesch Readability Score: 73.1). Transfers moneys from amounts retained in the Fund for Student Success to the School Stabilization Subaccount for Wildfire-impacted School Districts and increases the expenditure limitation for payment of grants-in-aid, program costs and purchased services for the Department of Education for the 2023-2025 biennium for the purpose of awarding grants to school districts impacted by wildfires. Declares an emergency, effective on passage.
