Summary
Requires Department of Human Services to administer temporary assistance for needy families program consistent with federal regulations and to provide specified types of assistance. Makes permanent certain provisions governing temporary assistance for needy families program. Authorizes department to provide assistance with tuition and fees associated with enrollment at educational institution for recipient who enrolls in educational institution as allowable work activity. Allows families to receive] department to provide post-TANF aid to employed families for up to 12 months after losing eligibility for TANF due to employment or increased hours of work. Adjusts punctuation in statute. Declares emergency, effective on passage.
