Summary

Requires Oregon Criminal Justice Commission to establish statewide online database of certain information about public safety employees. Requires Oregon Criminal Justice Commission to establish statewide online database of certain information about public safety employees. Requires law enforcement units, Department of Public Safety Standards and Training, Department of Justice and prosecutors to report to commission information about public safety employees for inclusion in database. Requires phased reporting of historical information. Modifies crime of tampering with public records. Eliminates exemption from disclosure of public records for disciplinary records of public safety officers. Declares emergency, effective on passage.
