Summary

Allows the siting of a power plant that uses one or more small modular reactors. Exempts the siting from the law that requires approval from the electors of this state. (Flesch Readability Score: 67.5). Allows the siting and operation of a small modular reactor energy facility without requiring that the proposed site certificate for the small modular reactor energy facility be submitted to the electors of this state for their approval or rejection.
