AN ACT

Amending Title 65 (Public Officers) of the Pennsylvania

2

Consolidated Statutes, in lobbying disclosure, further

3

providing for penalties.

The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

5

hereby enacts as follows:

Section 1.  Section 13A09 of Title 65 of the Pennsylvania

7

Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a subsection to read:

8

§ 13A09.  Penalties.

9

(j)  Forfeiture.--A principal that has realized a gain as a

11

result of lobbying by that principal or by another person on

12

behalf of the principal that has failed to register or report as

13

required under this chapter shall be required to forfeit that

14

gain or its monetary equivalent. The commission shall be

15

responsible for determining the manner and the amount of the

16

forfeiture.

Section 2.  The addition of 65 Pa.C.S. § 13A09(j) shall apply

18

to any lobbying that occurs on and after the effective date of

this section.

Section 3.  This act shall take effect in 60 days.
