AN ACT

Amending Title 4 (Amusements) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated

Statutes, further providing for appointment of members of the

board by imposing restrictions on appointment of members or

4

former members of the General Assembly.

The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

6

hereby enacts as follows:

Section 1.  Section 1201 of Title 4 of the Pennsylvania

8

Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a subsection to read:

9

§ 1201.  Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board established.

(h.4)  Restrictions on appointment of legislators.--No member

12

of the Senate or House of Representatives shall be eligible for

13

appointment as a member of the board during the term of office

14

for which the person was elected and for a period of 12 months

15

thereafter.

Section 2.  This act shall take effect immediately.
