AN ACT
Making an appropriation to the Fox Chase Institute for Cancer
Research, Philadelphia, for the operation and maintenance of
the cancer research program.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. The sum of $345,000 is hereby appropriated to the
Fox Chase Institute for Cancer Research, Philadelphia, for the
fiscal year July 1, 2009, to June 30, 2010, for the operation
and maintenance of the cancer research program. Payment of this
appropriation shall be made by the Secretary of Health in equal
quarterly payments.
Section 2. The Fox Chase Institute for Cancer Research shall
provide full, complete and accurate information as may be
required by the Department of Health or the chairman or the
minority chairman of the Appropriations Committee of the Senate
or the chairman or the minority chairman of the Appropriations
Committee of the House of Representatives.
Section 3. This act shall take effect immediately.
