AN ACT
Amending the act of March 10, 1949 (P.L.30, No.14), entitled "An
act elating to the public school system, including certain
provisions applicable as well to private and parochial
schools; amending, revising, consolidating and changing the
laws relating thereto," further providing for Pennsylvania
Accountability Grants.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. Section 2599.2(d.4) of the act of March 10, 1949
(P.L.30, No.14), known as the Public School Code of 1949, added
July 9, 2008 (P.L.846, No.61), is amended to read:
Section 2599.2. Pennsylvania Accountability Grants.--* * *
(d.4) During the 2008-2009 and 2010-2011 school [year]
years, the department shall pay to each school district a
Pennsylvania accountability grant equal to the amount paid
during the 2007-2008 school year under subsections (d.2) and
(d.3). If insufficient funds are appropriated, the payments
shall be made on a pro rata basis.

Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2010, or
immediately, whichever is later.
