AN ACT

Amending Title 42 (Judiciary and Judicial Procedure) of the

Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, providing for sentencing

3

for persons convicted of three or more offenses.

The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

5

hereby enacts as follows:

Section 1.  Title 42 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated

7

Statutes is amended by adding a section to read:

8

§ 9720.3.  Sentencing for persons convicted of three or more

9

offenses.

Notwithstanding any other provision of law, a person who is

11

convicted of three or more violations of 18 Pa.C.S. (relating to

12

crimes and offenses) shall be sentenced to the maximum penalty

13

available.

14

Section 2.  This act shall take effect in 60 days.
