Summary

Amend The Code Of Laws Of South Carolina, 1976, By Adding Section 38-3-450 So As To Authorize The Director Of The Department Of Insurance To Promulgate An Emergency Regulation Concerning The Payment Of A Claim After The Governor Has Declared A State Of Emergency, To Provide What Constitutes A Valid Claim, And To Provide A Penalty For An Insurer That Commits An Improper Claim Practice While Subject To The Emergency Regulation.
