Summary
Amend The South Carolina Code Of Laws By Amending Section 57-1-410, Relating To Appointment Of Secretary Of Transportation, So As To Provide Effective January 15, 2027, The Lieutenant Governor Shall Serve As Secretary Of Transportation, To Provide In Selecting A Candidate For Lieutenant Governor, A Candidate For Governor Shall Examine Whether The Person Possesses Certain Qualifications, And To Delete The Provision Relating To The Secretary Of Transportation's Compensation.
