Summary

Amend The South Carolina Code Of Laws By Amending Section 2-19-10, Relating To Judicial Merit Selection Commission, Appointment, Qualifications, And Terms, So As To Delete Procedures To Review The Qualifications Of Retired Judges For Continued Judicial Service; And By Amending Section 2-19-100, Relating To Eligibility Of Retired Judges For Appointment, So As To Provide That A Retired Justice Or Judge Is Prohibited From Engaging In Continued Judicial Service Following His Retirement.
