Since the 2000 inception of Freedom Temple Ministries with thirty-eight members, thousands have been added to the congregation, and, more importantly, to the kingdom of God through the baptism of the Holy Spirit; and

Just eleven months later, God empowered Bishop Crump to lead Freedom Temple into purchasing what is known today as the Freedom Center. This multipurpose facility consists of the historic Hemphill Auditorium and Family Life Center. In addition, the Freedom Center hosts the Freedom Counseling Center, Freedom Bookstore, and Freedom Café; and

Whereas, currently president of Freedom Montessori School, Bishop Crump is also past president of the NAACP's Rock Hill branch and serves as a York County Department of Juvenile Justice auxiliary probation officer, a York County Minority Scholarship Foundation Committee member, and an Old Town Rock Hill Association member. He has received a certificate in nonprofit business management from the Winthrop University School of Business, an associate degree in religious studies from Clinton Junior College, a bachelor's degree with a concentration in religion and history from Livingstone College, and a master's degree in political and civic engagement from Winthrop University; and

Whereas, his life demonstrates God's ability to transform a high school dropout, G.E.D. recipient, and former military inmate into a man who proclaims to the world that he whom the Son sets free is free indeed; and

Whereas, Bishop Crump considers it one of the greatest triumphs of his life that he was able to persuade Dawn Capers-Crump to become his bride. The Crumps are the proud parents of Joshua Crump and Jenesis Crump. Now, therefore,
