REPORT:

Has polled the Joint Resolution out majority favorable.

A JOINT RESOLUTION

TO AUTHORIZE THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROL TO ISSUE OR APPROVE ORDERS ALLOWING SAND SCRAPING AND SANDBAGGING FOR THE PROTECTION OF GOLF COURSES.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION    1.    Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the Department of Health and Environmental Control, by emergency order or approval of an order, may authorize sand scraping and sandbagging as protection for golf courses through December 31, 2015.

SECTION    2.    This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
