EXPLANATION OF IMPACT:
The Department of Natural Resources reports that this bill would impose no additional operating costs on the agency. Therefore, this bill would have no fiscal impact on the state general fund or on federal and/or other funds.

A BILL
TO AMEND SECTION 50-11-310, AS AMENDED, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO THE HUNTING AND TAKING OF ANTLERED DEER, SO AS TO DELETE A PROHIBITION ON BAITING DEER IN GAME ZONES 1 AND 2.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. Section 50-11-310(B) of the 1976 Code, as last amended by Act 286 of 2008, is further amended to read:
"(B) In Game Zones 1 and 2, it is unlawful to pursue deer with dogs, and it is unlawful to bait for deer."
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
