Summary

As introduced, lengthens, from 180 days to 190 days, the period of time that must expire from the date a defendant's surety is served with scire facias or scire facias is returned to the clerk unserved or undelivered, before the court may enter judgment against the defendant for the amount of the bail. - Amends TCA Title 39 and Title 40.
