Summary
As introduced, requires a person committed to jail to be kept separately from a person convicted of or charged with a sexual offense, a violent sexual offense, or a violent crime if the person committed to jail has or demonstrates an intellectual or developmental disability; requires jail employees to be trained on recognizing intellectual and developmental disabilities and proper procedures for dealing with persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities. - Amends TCA Title 33; Title 40 and Title 41.
