Summary

As introduced, requires all hospitals no later than January 1, 2019, to have a written policy in place that allows a patient who stays at the hospital to have the option of having self-administered medications given during the patient's stay at the hospital billed either through the hospital or through the patient's insurance carrier. - Amends TCA Title 8; Title 33; Title 53; Title 56; Title 63; Title 68 and Title 71.
