Summary
As introduced, makes various changes to the requirements for investigating sexual offenses, including requiring all law enforcement personnel involved in investigating sexual assault crimes to complete a minimum of 16 hours annually of sensitivity training provided by the POST commission related to interacting with victims of sexual violence and requiring the Tennessee bureau of investigation to complete DNA analysis on any sexual assault evidence collection kit within 90 days of submission. - Amends TCA Title 29; Title 38; Title 39 and Title 40.
