Summary
As introduced, requires clerks of court to collect and report a finding that a person is incompetent to stand trial in a criminal proceeding to the federal bureau of investigation and department of safety; prohibits the purchase or possession of a firearm by a person who has been adjudicated as a mental defective, including a person who has been found incompetent to stand trial in a criminal proceeding. - Amends TCA Title 16; Title 39 and Title 40.
