Summary

As introduced, allows the respondent to an ex parte order of protection to waive the right to a hearing on the order within 15 days of issuance if the respondent acknowledges that the ex parte order will remain in effect until the hearing is held and the court finds that the interests of justice require the continuance of the hearing. - Amends TCA Title 36, Chapter 3, Part 6.
