Summary
As introduced, decreases from 20 days to 15 days the time in which a person wishing to make acknowledgment of the execution of an instrument, who is not personally acquainted with the clerk or does not have satisfactory evidence to establish the person's identity, must produce witnesses before the clerk to prove identity of the person offering to acknowledge. - Amends TCA Title 8 and Title 66.
