Summary
As introduced, requires a court, in setting bail for a defendant charged with driving under the influence of an intoxicant or another alcohol-related offense, to require the person to operate only a motor vehicle equipped with a functioning ignition interlock device; requires the defendant to submit proof of compliance to the district attorney general's office within 10 days of release. - Amends TCA Title 40, Chapter 11.
