Summary

As introduced, changes, from 10 days to 30 days, the period of time after an order of assignment is issued for a student's parent, guardian, legal custodian, guardian ad litem, or attorney to apply to the respective local board of education for a hearing as to the reasonableness of the assignment and to request the student's transfer to another school. - Amends TCA Title 49, Chapter 6.
