Summary

As introduced, provides that a prosecution can be commenced for certain offenses committed on or after July 1, 2012, within the applicable period established by law or within one year after the date on which the accused's identity is established through DNA evidence, whichever period is longer. - Amends TCA Title 39 and Title 40.
