Summary
As enacted, requires the department of education to produce an annual report concerning the efficacy of training on reading instruction provided by educator preparation providers; authorizes the state board of education to place on probationary status or revoke the approval of an EPP or any other Tennessee educator issuing entity if the program fails to meet the standards established by the state board. - Amends TCA Title 49.
