Summary
As introduced, allows court to sentence person convicted of driving under the influence to alternative confinement facility with a court approved inpatient DUI education program instead of incarceration in county jail; clarifies that judge may sentence person convicted of second DUI offense to a DUI education program or alcohol or drug treatment program. - Amends TCA Title 55, Chapter 10, Part 4.
