Summary
As introduced, designates as an unfair or deceptive act or practice in violation of the Tennessee Consumer Protection Act of 1977 certain failures by a provider of broadband services to provide the stated upload and download speeds to a consumer; allows the attorney general to assess a civil penalty of $5,000 to $15,000 for each violation. - Amends TCA Title 5; Title 6; Title 7; Title 47, Chapter 18 and Title 65.
