Bill Title: As enacted, creates an exemption to the requirement that any garagekeeper or towing firms with an abandoned, immobile or unattended motor vehicle taken into custody by a police department notify the owner of record of such vehicle, which exemption will apply when the vehicle's owner or the owner's agent is present at the time that the vehicle is placed into the custody of the garagekeeper or towing firm; extends the present law length limit for a straight truck that is operated on the highways from 40 feet to 45 feet. - Amends TCA Title 5; Title 6; Title 7; Title 8; Title 54 and Title 55.
