Bill Title: As introduced, raises the amount in damages that a purchaser may be entitled to if wrongly asked to produce a credit card number for recordation in connection with a sale of goods or services in which the purchaser pays by check, or with the acceptance of a check from the greater of actual damages or $100 to the greater of the actual damages or $500. - Amends TCA Title 45; Title 47 and Title 67.
