Bill Title: As enacted, authorizes the chief governing body of an employer participating in the TCRS as a local governmental unit, by adopting a resolution with a 2/3 majority vote, to discontinue the noncontributory provisions for all employees employed after the effective date of the resolution and to have the contributions treated as employer contributions in determining federal income tax liability; employees who were employed prior to the effective date of the resolution will continue to be eligible for the noncontributory provisions. - Amends TCA Title 8, Chapter 34; Title 8, Chapter 35; Title 8, Chapter 36; Title 8, Chapter 3.
