relating to the prohibited maintenance of certain vaccine exemption | ||
records by the Department of State Health Services. | ||
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
SECTION 1. Section 161.0041(e), Health and Safety Code, is | ||
amended to read as follows: | ||
(e) The department shall maintain a record of the total | ||
number of affidavit forms sent out each year and shall report that | ||
information to the legislature each year. The department may not | ||
maintain a record of: | ||
(1) the names of individuals who request an affidavit | ||
under this section; or | ||
(2) the number of affidavit forms sent out each year, | ||
disaggregated by zip code. | ||
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025. |
