| relating to the prohibited maintenance of certain vaccine exemption | ||
| records by the Department of State Health Services. | ||
| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
| SECTION 1. Section 161.0041(e), Health and Safety Code, is | ||
| amended to read as follows: | ||
| (e) The department shall maintain a record of the total | ||
| number of affidavit forms sent out each year and shall report that | ||
| information to the legislature each year. The department may not | ||
| maintain a record of: | ||
| (1) the names of individuals who request an affidavit | ||
| under this section; or | ||
| (2) the number of affidavit forms sent out each year, | ||
| disaggregated by zip code. | ||
| SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025. | ||
