| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
| SECTION 1. Section 43.005, Health and Safety Code, is | ||
| amended by adding Subsection (c) to read as follows: | ||
| (c) The executive commissioner shall appoint for the | ||
| program of oral health services a dental director who is a dentist. | ||
| SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025. | ||
