| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
| SECTION 1. Section 485.022, Government Code, is amended by | ||
| adding Subsection (g) to read as follows: | ||
| (g) The office may require a production company applying for | ||
| a grant under this subchapter to certify that, with respect to the | ||
| moving image project that is the subject of the application, the | ||
| production company will conform with guidelines adopted by the | ||
| office relating to the safe use of firearms in moving image | ||
| productions. | ||
| SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025. | ||
