| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
| SECTION 1. Section 74.103, Government Code, is amended to | ||
| read as follows: | ||
| Sec. 74.103. STAFF. (a) The courts may appoint appropriate | ||
| staff and support personnel according to the needs in each county. | ||
| (b) Staff and support personnel appointed under this | ||
| section serve at the pleasure of the judge who appointed the staff | ||
| or personnel. | ||
| SECTION 2. Section 74.104(a), Government Code, is amended | ||
| to read as follows: | ||
| (a) The judges shall determine reasonable compensation for | ||
| the court coordinators, staff, and support personnel, subject to | ||
| approval of the commissioners court. | ||
| SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2015. | ||
