| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
| SECTION 1. Section 12.006, Election Code, is amended by | ||
| adding Subsection (g) to read as follows: | ||
| (g) On receipt of a completed registration application, a | ||
| regular deputy registrar shall prepare a receipt in the same manner | ||
| required under Section 13.040. | ||
| SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2013. | ||
